A little about me…

Hello! I’m a fourth-year BSc User Experience student at Edinburgh Napier University with a strong passion for user-centered design and data-driven decisions. When it comes to aesthetics, I’m drawn to minimalist design, believing that simplicity often creates the most impactful experiences.

Outside the classroom, I’ve spent much of my life playing Football at the highest level in Scotland for teams such as Aberdeen FC, Hibernian Football Club, Ross County and Elgin City —an experience that taught me the importance of teamwork, discipline, and resilience. Being from a small town in the north of Scotland, good opportunities were hard to come by. Therefore, I decided to try my luck in the big city; this saw me leaving School to go to Edinburgh at lunchtime and getting home at one o'clock in the morning every other day. I did this for nearly two years, and after a while, it took its toll on my well-being and I fell out of love with football, however, I am not bitter about this, I am grateful for the opportunity as It taught me about how far I am willing to struggle and push towards what is important to me.

More recently, I’ve discovered a new love for tennis, as well as a growing interest in cooking and productivity. Ultimately, I hope to channel my dedication and leadership skills into growing my career.
